Judith rer with FlickDirect speaking with annaa Carla in everything everything yeah wonderful film just a little refreshing you know it's not not just such a you know it's a romance and there's some drama to it but it was a refreshing take on it yeah what uh what was what appealed to you most about Carlo well it appealed to me that it was like you said it's very refreshing it's an intimate film it's kind of like it feels like old school romance and uh I think the actors are great I think the relationship that they build it's so sweet and and they're very uh they did a great job because I watched them rehearsing and and being very in the moment and um improvising little things here and there so I think that's why it connects with the audience oh definitely definitely and and they work great and you uh don't have as much dialogue as they do or screen time but the time that you're on there is very powerful just you know your character but also your your performance it's just even when you're not speaking it's just your eyes just on the screen really jump off yeah I think because it's only a movie about four characters like just everything is kind of important in the in the film and we're really supporting roles like you know nothing could have happened if Carla didn't allow them to do to do it so I think that's why you know she's a lot for her you know she's like her best friend and her confident and her Cupid and uh have you ever had the opportunity to do that for somebody to be say help them spread their wings and Cupid yeah I think I love that I like you know seeing people falling in love and uh I think I'm a little bit like my character I would relate to someone like that like if someone was sick or in a in a you know in experiencing something difficult I would be someone who one not being like Oh I'm so sad for you I'm so you know this is bad I'm just like you know what let's have a good time in the meantime I know this this is not great but you know let's leave and and laugh about it yeah and though it's uh labeled a teen romance teen novel that it's adopted from a lot of mature themes so they didn't really dive deeply into them but I you know I was expecting a teen romance and then I'm confronted with all these I know that really make you think powerful yeah it's I think that's really cool because the teens are excited about you know seeing these two characters falling in love but I think if you're older than that and if you're a mother you're going to relate so much to the movie because there's a lot of fear also but but it's I think it's great because it it says it in a way that you don't you don't expect it and it's still like it's a love story but it's a a story about love about like different types of love love about life love about your kid about new something new about discovering things like she says at some point by the end of the movie is like I don't need OE to you know in my you know to be happy but you know he's someone amazing yes uh so I love that like it's very empowering for a woman too a little different from paa from other character you've played recently oh thank you very much completely different yeah thank you so much for taking the time appreciate it thank you very [Music] much
