hi I'm Allison with FlickDirect how are you both today hi Alison how are you how are you I'm doing well it's been a busy day for all of us I think yes so why superheroes why did you want to play these parts I needed a job Alis P you go first gu okay um I mean I think I mean all the superhero aspect makes it that much cooler because obviously it's superheroes and that's amazing but I think also the the the thing that the loop the sorry superheroes represent I mean we are you know super luas super luchadors and that is something that is so special because you know we're representing the latinx culture and I think yes I mean that's the one of the main reasons that I was so excited to get to play this role you know was because I got to play this person that I was going to get to be like a role model hopefully for other kids um you know and I think that's just part of the reason why that made this part so much special well I mean I'm so so honored to to to get to play this character and and to be black scorpion um it it's it's so there's so much pride you know to be able to be this person just like Scarlet said to represent our our our culture and to represent you know um to repres in a way we haven't been represented in this way you know so that is is is what is such a gift and and and we're so blessed to be in this position to get to play this role and and you know it was it was so fun it was so fun it was so it was like living out a childhood dream you know is there pressure obviously I think there's uh you know a bit of pressure mostly that I'm putting on myself I mean I don't there's not pressure coming on from other people you know it's but it's mostly pressure that I'm like I really want to be the best version of this character so that it gets what needs to be said out to those kids who are watching um so I mean I guess there is a sort of a pressure to like you know be who you know the best version of ultraviolet that I can so I think that's probably the pressure that there is but you know honestly I just want people to enjoy watching the show I I think you did it Scarlet for sure you definitely did it um I I I would agree with with Scarlet uh I didn't really feel the only pressure I felt was you know pressure like she said for myself pressure for from you know my family I just want to make my family proud you know I I want my my nieces my nephews my sisters my brothers I want them to to to just feel so proud and so happy when they see this because they've never seen anything like this you know so that was the pressure just like Scarlet said to do the best job we could do for for that purpose you know for for what this show represents you two have like such a great banter back and forth it seems so what has been like the best or funniest moment on set oh my there always funny set there's not never a moment where you won't see Jr giggling never um God that is how many takes did he ruin oh my God so many no it was it was it was both of us I laughed quite a few times um bits we had a few ongoing bits scar right like one of the one of the bits we had I remember was a we do this bit where um we'd be you know having a conversation and we're like about to start rolling but you know we're getting last and everything and then me and Scar would start talking to someone and be like oh my God we have something really important to tell you it came from Disney it came from Disney they gave us a note it might change everything and then they like AC like a but we'll tell you later be like people be like what is it what what is it you guys are on the wrong show you need to be on that villain's show oh you guys thank you so much for your time this is it's such a great show and I I love them both and like I said you two have really great uh I don't want to say chemistry but you have such a good rapport together so thank you than you both appreciate [Music]
