The official trailer for Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi has arrived, offering a thrilling look at Lucasfilm's new limited anime series from Production I.G. Expanding one of the most acclaimed stories from Star Wars: Visions, the series follows Kara as a new generation of Jedi emerges in a galaxy where the Force has nearly disappeared.
Supervised by Kenji Kamiyama and directed by Shunsuke Tada, The Ninth Jedi brings cinematic animation, lightsaber battles, and a bold new chapter to the Star Wars universe when it premieres August 5 on Disney+ and Hulu.

ABOUT STAR WARS: VISIONS PRESENTS – THE NINTH JEDI
Picking up shortly after the acclaimed Star Wars: Visions stories “The Ninth Jedi” and “The Ninth Jedi: Child of Hope,” Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi follows Lah Kara as she continues training in the ways of the Jedi under the guidance of Margrave Juro. As Kara grows stronger in the Force, she joins Juro and a small fellowship of Jedi-in-training on a dangerous mission to rescue her father, setting the stage for a new chapter in one of the most beloved stories from the Star Wars: Visions anthology.
As their journey unfolds, Kara and her companions face powerful enemies, ancient mysteries, and difficult choices that will shape the future of a new generation of Jedi. Expanding the universe introduced in the original short films, the eight-episode limited anime series combines breathtaking animation from Production I.G with epic adventure, emotional storytelling, and the timeless themes of hope, destiny, and the enduring struggle between light and darkness.
