The official Crystal Lake teaser trailer offers the first chilling look at Peacock and A24’s upcoming Friday the 13th prequel series.
Set nearly one year after the drowning of her young son Jason, the series follows Pamela Voorhees as grief, suspicion, and violence begin consuming the lakeside community. Linda Cardellini stars as Pamela, whose personal tragedy will ultimately become inseparable from the horrifying legacy of Camp Crystal Lake.
The teaser delivers ominous glimpses of the camp, terrified visitors, blood-stained weapons, and the escalating nightmare surrounding Pamela. Rather than beginning with the masked killer audiences already know, Crystal Lake explores the events and emotional trauma that helped create one of horror’s most enduring legends.
Created by Brad Caleb Kane, the eight-episode series is scheduled to premiere on Peacock on October 15, 2026.
