Matt Hagen’s Descent Into Horror Begins in Clayface
The official trailer for Clayface introduces DC Studios’ chilling body-horror thriller centered on one of Gotham’s most tragic villains. Tom Rhys Harries stars as Matt Hagen, whose meteoric rise from street kid to Hollywood leading man is destroyed after a brutal attack leaves him horribly disfigured. Desperate to reclaim his life, he undergoes an experimental treatment that restores his appearance but begins to fracture his grip on reality.
Directed by James Watkins from a screenplay by Mike Flanagan and Hossein Amini, Clayface also stars Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, Max Minghella, Eddie Marsan, Nancy Carroll, and Joshua James. Blending psychological horror, body horror, and DC mythology, the film follows Hagen’s transformation into a dangerous figure consumed by revenge when it arrives exclusively in theaters on October 23, 2026.
