Backrooms (2026)

When a strange doorway suddenly appears in the basement of a furniture showroom, it opens onto something that should not exist: an endless network of empty rooms, fluorescent corridors, and forgotten spaces stretching far beyond the boundaries of reality. After a vulnerable patient disappears through the opening, therapist Mary refuses to accept that he is simply gone and ventures into the impossible dimension in search of him.

Inside the Backrooms, familiar architecture becomes a disorienting maze where time and space no longer behave according to the rules of the outside world. As Mary pushes deeper into the seemingly infinite labyrinth, isolation and uncertainty give way to the terrifying realization that she may not be alone. Directed by Kane Parsons and inspired by the viral internet phenomenon he helped transform into modern horror mythology, Backrooms turns liminal spaces into a psychological nightmare where finding an exit may be the least of anyone’s problems.
