VisionQuest follows Vision as he tries to rebuild a life he can barely feel is his own. Living under the weight of restored memories and a body that has already been remade once, he searches for a stable identity while confronting the artificial minds embedded in his programming. As he moves between the human world and a private internal space shaped by his own logic, the series turns his confusion into the center of the story. What begins as a search for answers quickly becomes a struggle over memory, personality, and whether Vision can define himself on his own terms.
Set within Marvel’s larger WandaVision-to-Agatha All Along thread, the series leans into science fiction, character drama, and uneasy humor while keeping Vision’s relationship with Ultron at its core. Paul Bettany returns in the title role, with James Spader back as Ultron, and Terry Matalas steers the project as showrunner. Rather than treating Vision as a simple superhero adventure, the series focuses on identity, family, and the emotional cost of being built, broken, and rebuilt. That gives VisionQuest a distinct place in the Marvel TV lineup: part sequel, part existential puzzle, and part confrontation with the past.
