Barack and Michelle Obama Sign Deal with Netflix
Barack and Michelle Obama have signed a production deal over at Netflix. The deal was announced today by Netflix via social media.

"President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama have entered into a multi-year agreement to produce films and series for Netflix, potentially including scripted series, unscripted series, docu-series, documentaries, and features", stated Netflix.

This story confirms previous reports that the couple was looking to sign this deal. Eric Schultz, a senior adviser to the former president told the New York Times, "Throughout their lives, they have lifted up stories of people whose efforts to make a difference are quietly changing the world for the better. As they consider their future personal plans, they continue to explore new ways to help others tell and share their stories."

The Netflix arena will be used by the Obamas to feature stories of inspiration, which could include a scripted series, unscripted series, docu-series, or documentaries.
