Nicolas Cage to Star in Joe Exotic Series

Nicolas Cage has signed on to star in and executive produce a "Tiger King" series based on the infamous Joe Exotic. The limited-run series will be comprised of 8 episodes.

The series will focus on the life of Joe Shreibvogel Joe Exotic, and how he became Joe Exotic, the eventual Netflix documentary "star". 

Hailing from American Vandal showrunner Dan Lagana, Paul Young (Key & Peele), Imagine Television Studios and CBS TV Studios, the series will be based on the Texas Monthly article "Joe Exotic: A Dark Journey Into the World of a Man Gone Wild" by Leif Reigstad.

Lagana will executive produce and write. Brian Grazer and Samie Kim Falvey will executive produce with Imagine, Paul Young for Make Good Content, Nicolas Cage for Saturn Films, and Scott Brown and Megan Creydt for Texas Monthly.
