Blumhouse Productions and Atomic Monster to Merge

Jason Blum and James Wan have announced that they are merging their companies, Blumhouse Productions, and Atomic Monster. Both are known for their horror films and are bound to make a dynamic duo.

"We really do complement each other, yin and yang, which is part of what makes this so exciting," said Wan.

Blumhouse is responsible for many successful franchises including "Halloween," "Paranormal Activity" and "The Purge," while Wan is known for  "The Conjuring" and "Saw" series. Combined, the pair has earned nearly $12 billion at the box office. The two companies

Even though the plan is to merge, both companies will retain their separate labels and identity. They have already joined forces for the upcoming film "M3gan," which will debut on Jan. 6, 2023.
