Disney+ launches a nationwide celebration for the 35th anniversary of Home Alone, featuring record-breaking displays, pop-ups, and holiday travel surprises.

Disney+ is kicking off December with a celebration worthy of one of the most beloved holiday comedies ever made. In honor of the 35th anniversary of Home Alone, the streamer is rolling out a month-long slate of immersive experiences that invite fans to step inside iconic moments from the classic film. From a record-breaking gingerbread replica of the McCallister home to a real-world Little Nero's Pizza takeover and an airport activation designed to make travel a little merrier, the anniversary tribute puts Home Alone front and center for the holiday season.

The entire Home Alone movie franchise is now available on Disney+ and Hulu, and fans can also enjoy a nonstop stream of the first three films—totaling 330 minutes of pranks, hijinks, and heartwarming family chaos. With interactive events landing in major cities and playful tech integrations rounding out the festivities, Disney+ aims to make Kevin McCallister's world feel closer than ever.

"Disney+ is excited to celebrate a movie that's become such a holiday staple for families everywhere, mine included," said Zack Jerome, VP, Brand & Marketing Strategy at Disney+. "We can't wait to bring elements from the film into the real world so people can experience them up close, and if they share my enthusiasm, finally order ‘a lovely cheese pizza just for me' from Little Nero's."

At the center of the celebration is a larger-than-life creation: a meticulously crafted gingerbread house designed to resemble the famous suburban home featured in the first two films. Disney+ and Hulu are attempting to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the world's largest gingerbread house—one that has stood since 2013.

The massive structure is set to measure 58 feet long, 42 feet wide, and 25.6 feet tall, making it more of a walk-in installation than a simple holiday display. Bakers and builders are using an astonishing 5,700 pounds of flour, 4,200 eggs, 4,400 gingerbread bricks, 800 gingerbread roof tiles, 20 gallons of edible glue, and 20 pounds of fondant to bring the edible replica to life.

Weather permitting, the gingerbread McCallister home will be open to the public on the evenings of December 18 and 19 at the iconic Hollywood and Vine intersection in Los Angeles. Visitors are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to support Toys for Tots, turning the event into a festive moment of giving.

Fans craving Kevin McCallister's go-to order won't want to miss an exclusive partnership between Disney+ and Prince St. Pizza. From December 10 to 17, select Prince St. locations nationwide will transform into real-world versions of the fictional Little Nero's Pizzeria, complete with themed branding, updated menus, and limited-edition packaging.

Branches in Chicago and Toronto will add unique Little Nero's décor, while the Studio City location in Los Angeles will undergo a full interior and exterior reimagining. That location will even feature the iconic Little Nero's delivery car, giving fans a perfect backdrop for photos and nostalgia.

Of course, the star of the collaboration is the pizza itself. In honor of Kevin's iconic line, Prince St. Pizza will temporarily rename its classic cheese pie "The Lovely Cheese Pizza."

To bring a bit of lighthearted fun to the holiday travel rush, Disney+ is teaming with CLEAR for a special promotion titled "No Kevin Left Behind." Running from December 17 to 21 at nine major U.S. airports, the activation offers CLEAR+ Members limited-edition Home Alone ornaments to brighten their travel day.

In a playful twist inspired by the film, CLEAR+ Members named Kevin who use select CLEAR lanes will receive a code for a complimentary CLEAR Concierge service on a future trip—making sure they don't end up left behind.

Participating airports include Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International (ATL), Denver International (DEN), Newark Liberty International (EWR), John F. Kennedy International (JFK), Los Angeles International (LAX), LaGuardia (LGA), Orlando International (MCO), Chicago O'Hare (ORD), and Seattle-Tacoma International (SEA).

Even those not traveling can get in on the fun: Disney+ subscribers can redeem a complimentary three-month CLEAR+ trial through the Disney+ Perks program.

Rounding out the celebration is a small but delightfully chaotic feature added to the VIZIO Voice Remote. From December 19 to 31, VIZIO users can shout "KEVIN!"—just like Kate McCallister in the film—to instantly launch the Disney+ app and begin streaming Home Alone.
