32nd Actor Awards Winners: Sinners and The Studio Lead the Night

Michael B. Jordan, Jessie Buckley, and The Pitt headline a major evening for film and television

At the 32nd annual Actor Awards, formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards, Sinners emerged as the night’s top film winner, earning best performance by an ensemble cast. Michael B. Jordan also took home the award for best leading actor for his role in the film directed by Ryan Coogler. In other film categories, Jessie Buckley won best leading actress for Hamnet, while Sean Penn claimed best supporting actor for One Battle After Another. Amy Madigan earned the supporting actress award for Weapons.

On the television side, The Studio won best comedy series ensemble, with Seth Rogen honored as best actor in a comedy series. Rogen also accepted the best actress in a comedy series award on behalf of Catherine O'Hara, delivering an emotional tribute to his late co-star. In drama categories, The Pitt secured best ensemble, and Noah Wyle won best actor for his performance on the show. Keri Russell was named best actress in a drama series for The Diplomat.

In limited series categories, Michelle Williams won for Dying for Sex, while Owen Cooper was recognized for Adolescence. The best stunt ensemble awards went to Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning in film and The Last of Us in television.

Hosted by Kristen Bell and streaming live on Netflix from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, the ceremony also featured Woody Harrelson presenting the Life Achievement Award to Harrison Ford and opened with the traditional “I am an actor” segment, including appearances by Teyana Taylor and Michael J. Fox.
