Krampus, sinister winter folklore creatures, haunted attractions, and twisted holiday treats return November 19 for a limited-time celebration running through January 10, 2027.
The holidays are getting a whole lot darker in Las Vegas as Universal Horror Unleashed prepares for another season of festive frights with the return of Krampus & Kin. This year's limited-time celebration promises a twisted winter wonderland filled with terrifying folklore creatures, creepy Christmas festivities, haunting entertainment, and plenty of devilishly delicious seasonal treats.
Taking place on select dates from November 19, 2026, through January 10, 2027, the event invites guests to trade traditional holiday cheer for something a little more sinister. From encounters with Krampus and his legendary companions to a lantern-lit musical procession and holiday-themed haunted attractions, there are plenty of ways to celebrate the season with a scream.
Throughout the event, Universal Horror Unleashed will be transformed with eerie holiday decorations, unsettling seasonal music, and familiar characters embracing their darker holiday personalities.
Among the returning attractions is Frost Bite, where Dead Storage becomes a frozen hunting ground controlled by the Vampire Frost Queen. Alongside her Frost Guard and Frost Stalkers, she'll be searching for unsuspecting visitors who wander into her icy domain.
Over at Kill Vault Video, holiday horror movies provide the perfect seasonal entertainment. However, guests who venture behind the video wall will discover that something much more disturbing is waiting.
Meanwhile, Home for the Horrordays takes over Prop Graveyard, transforming it into a twisted family Christmas gathering. The Twin Sister and Twin Brother are welcoming their most disturbed friends for a holiday celebration that's anything but merry and bright.
From Krampus and his legendary companions to Jack the Clown's seasonal madness, there are plenty of ways to celebrate the holidays with a scream.
Winter folklore takes center stage in Yuletide Legends, located near Krampus Haus. Here, guests can encounter Krampus himself while exploring oversized storybooks that bring some of the season's most sinister legends to life.
Returning favorites Grýla and Kallikantzaroi will be joined by newcomers Mari Lwyd, Hans Trapp and Frau Perchta, introducing guests to even more unsettling characters from European winter folklore.
Throughout the evening, a haunting lantern-lit musical procession will bring these legendary creatures together, building toward a dramatic lighting spectacle surrounding Krampus's enormous black holiday tree.
Guests can also pose for photos on Krampus's skull-covered throne or inside Grýla's cauldron.
And what would a holiday celebration at Universal Horror Unleashed be without Jack the Clown?
Jack and his Maniacs are bringing their own brand of seasonal madness to Demented Circus in Premiere House. Expect high-energy rock music, specialty performances, dark comedy, and theatrical kills as the circus turns the spirit of giving into something considerably more terrifying.
Of course, even the most dedicated horror fans need to take a break from screaming to grab something to eat. Fortunately, Krampus & Kin has plenty of frightfully festive options.
Krampus Haus, a Bavarian-inspired beer garden located in Jack's Alley, will feature four themed food stalls serving seasonal specialties, along with beers on draught and specialty cocktails.
The holiday menu includes:
The Chains of Krampus: A Bavarian-style pretzel served with blonde ale cheese fondue and Bavarian mustard dip.
Naughty, Naughty: Smoked cranberry-glazed chicken drum pops.
Feast of the Holy Innards: Spiraled Feuerwurst sausage topped with fire-roasted pepper relish and Bavarian mustard.
Perchta's Pie: Fried apple pie chebureki finished with bourbon-spiced vanilla bean icing.
For guests who want to sample several offerings, a Krampus-themed dining pass will be available. The pass can be redeemed for four food selections, allowing visitors to choose their favorites or try a little bit of everything.
The seasonal drink menu is equally devilish, featuring cocktails and festive concoctions such as Devil's Blood, a gin-based drink with cranberry, citrus, cherry, and clove-infused honey; Krampus Punch, a spiced mulled wine; and Shot Ski, made with aquavit.
Those looking for a nonalcoholic option can try Nice List, a festive combination of cherry juice, apple cider, orange juice, honey, clove and ginger beer.
Fans looking to bring some of the seasonal nightmares home can also check out the Krampus & Kin merchandise collection. Available at the Universal Horror Unleashed retail store, the collection features apparel, accessories, and collectible souvenirs inspired by Krampus and other legendary creatures of winter folklore.
Whether it's a keepsake from a Las Vegas visit or a gift for the horror fan who already has everything, the merchandise offers another way to remember this decidedly unconventional holiday celebration.
Krampus & Kin is included with General Admission to Universal Horror Unleashed, alongside the attraction's four haunted houses and immersive entertainment.
Located in Las Vegas' AREA15 District, Universal Horror Unleashed was first announced by Universal in January 2023 as a permanent horror entertainment destination. The year-round attraction features four immersive themed areas inside an abandoned production warehouse, live entertainment, and four film-quality haunted houses: Universal Monsters, Blumhouse's The Exorcist: Believer, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Scarecrow: The Reaping.
The venue has also introduced other limited-time experiences, including Feaster Grievings, a story-driven horror experience that brought a cursed film production to life earlier in 2026.
