Cujo Synopsis

Stephen King's Cujo brings terror to suburbia when a once-friendly St. Bernard contracts rabies, transforming into a relentless predator. Set against the backdrop of small-town America, the film follows Donna Trenton, a mother already battling personal turmoil, as she becomes trapped with her young son inside a sweltering car while the massive dog stalks them outside. Fear builds not only from the animal's savagery but also from the suffocating isolation of their desperate situation.

What makes Cujo unforgettable is its blend of psychological and visceral horror. It's not simply a story about a rabid dog but a reflection of human vulnerability under pressure — a test of survival, maternal instinct, and the fragile line between safety and chaos. Tense direction, unflinching performances, and suffocating suspense combine to make Cujo one of the most unsettling adaptations of King's work.
