When their parents, super-spies Gregorio and Ingrid Cortez (Banderas and Gugino) are called back into service to save the world and are suddenly nabbed by the enemy, it is up to their kids, Carmen and Juni (Vega and Sabara) to save the day.
Using all the skills learned in elementary school and from video games, along with a host of cool gadgets, these small heroes set out to save their family... and the world.

It's being reported that Skydance Media has optioned the rights to and is looking to bring back the "Spy Kids" franchise. Creator Robert Rodriguez will reprise his writing and directing jobs for the project.
