Mission: Impossible - Fallout
Mission: Impossible – Fallout has a solid plot surrounded by the amazing stunts discussed earlier.  As action films go this is the full package and certainly one of this year’s best.  Cruise could retire after this knowing he made an incredible film.

Dog Days
While Dog Days revolves around the dogs and how they bring lives together, they aren’t the main focus.  The relationships between the humans are the story here. The point the movie does make though is how these pets enrich our lives.

Scrooged 30th Anniversary Edition
As Christmas time is full of traditions, I say buy Scrooged and make a new tradition of watching it every year with your loved ones around you.  It won’t disappoint and will remind you all if what is important in life and not to squander any opportunity to embrace love and family.

Ralph Breaks The Internet
As sequels go this one hits the mark.  It is enjoyable and entertaining and offers TONS of Easter eggs for the audience to dissect.  The Disney team did a wonderful job visualizing what the internet might look like from the inside.

Blindspotting
Blindspotting is enjoyable and entertaining while offering a sober look at some of the things facing our young, black male population, especially in urban settings.  Serious moments peppered with humor and fun keep this film from being too bogged down.

Instant Family
Instant Family is a feel-good film during the holiday season and one that should be seen by everyone as it might just start a much-needed dialogue.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald
While the magical aspects and visuals are appealing, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is clunky and awkward.  Fans of the Potter Universe will no doubt go to see it but shouldn’t expect it to be as inviting as the first film.

A Private War
A Private War is haunting but does the life of Marie Colvin justice.  It couldn’t have been easy but it was an important life and the film pays homage to the brilliant woman behind the faces of wars and conflicts all over the world.

Air Force One
Air Force One offers a great cast, strong action sequences and a solid plot that will keep one entertained throughout.  In the action/hostage/drama genre it is a top pick along with Die Hard so if you are a fan, you will definitely want to pick this one up.

BlacKkKlansman
BlacKkKlansman is a well-told story and I would be surprised if it didn’t garner some Oscar nominations this year.
