Lionsgate TV Developing Twilight TV Series

It's being reported that Lionsgate TV is developing a "Twilight" series. It will be based on the Stephanie Meyers book series, which has already been adapted into an extremely successful film franchise.

It's being said that Wyck Godfrey and Erik Feig will executive produce.

The Twilight Saga is a series of four vampire-themed romance/fantasy novels written by American author Stephenie Meyer. The series consists of Twilight (published in 2005), New Moon (published in 2006), Eclipse (published in 2007),  and Breaking Dawn (published in 2008). It tells the story of a teenage girl named Bella Swan, who falls in love with a vampire named Edward Cullen. The series follows their relationship as they navigate the challenges of being in love with someone from a different world, while also dealing with the dangers and drama of the supernatural community. The books were a huge commercial success, selling over 120 million copies worldwide and inspiring a series of movies, as well as a massive fan following.

The films are a series of five movies based on the books of the same name by Stephenie Meyer. The films were produced by Summit Entertainment and released between 2008 and 2012. The five films are Twilight (2008), New Moon (2009), Eclipse (2010), Breaking Dawn - Part 1 (2011), and Breaking Dawn - Part 2 (2012). They starred Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen, and Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black. The story follows Bella as she moves to Forks, Washington, and falls in love with Edward, who is a vampire. The films also explore the love triangle between Bella, Edward, and Jacob, who is a werewolf. Hugely successful at the box office, The Twilight Saga films grossed over $3.3 billion worldwide. Despite mixed reviews from critics, the movies developed a large and dedicated fan base, and helped to cement the Twilight franchise as a pop culture phenomenon.
