congratulations on a great first season you got the second one coming up what you got coming up in the second season for us after the virus has taken down 80% of humanity we find out that there are immunes that are surviving on the land that we're trying to return to and we have to figure out what kind of society they're going to build in in place of the old order to this new world order run by immunes obviously you're going to get some bad guys who have delusions of grandeur de charismatic demagogues totalitarians all absolutely against what the US Constitution and what the US Navy stands for Honor courage and commitment and we have to fight tooth and nail to survive sounds like it's going to be a rough season yeah there's going to be There Will Be Blood tell me what's going on in in in season two here you I I hear all kinds of death and destruction are coming your way it's crazy um the zombie oh kid oh it's not going to be walking down you guys stop how cool would that be though if we had zombies a crossover maybe we could get Daryl to jump on the ship with you that would be awesome zombies or vampires one of uh I don't know but the vampires might be a little bit difficult cuz once you're on the ship there's no hiding from the Sun unless you're like stuck and there be feeding on everybody Oh that's oh that's kind of creepy it's a bad situation all right so what you got going on here no so no in season 2 it's all about trying to figure out how to distribute this vaccine and try to save the world see what's left of our families and uh of course we' got some challenges along the way so it's uh yeah we're going off the ship and and having a good old time couple of good firefights I get to beat somebody down with a frying pan this season cuz I didn't have my gun yeah that sounds like I'm I'm excited about that and and so many things that I wish I could talk about I just I mean it's it's hard it it I have to say honestly while I was filming some of it I was Disturbed this year by some of the not to say that the burning bodies for power on the city was not disturbing enough but we've got some that's got to leave a bad smell yeah it is it definitely is going hey are you kidding me we're at Comic Con it's amazing that's that's exactly it so what do you got coming up on the next season with last sh uh this season is it's big I mean there's I I did a lot of action in season one season two it takes it up a notch the scope of the show goes up the tone of the show changes it gets a little bit darker I got a kid on the way so I think this season it's just big it's like how do we fix this broken world and make it a worth living in and it's the stakes are high that sounds incredible it looks like you've got a really big audience I mean this is kind of insane we've got a crazy crazy crazy press room and you guys I'm sure you guys have these big hauls going on what is your ComicCon experience like uh to me it's always a rush man you're surrounded by people that that like the show you're surrounded by people that like other shows the energy here is great the costumes are wild and I think it's great cuz a lot of Navy personnel we some people that are really serving in some of the Armed Forces have stopped us to tell us that they like the show and they really respect how we're being authentic to the military so for me it I'm just so humbled yeah I feel I it feels really great to to get acknowledged in that way that is amazing well we really appreciate you coming out and talking with us congratulations and good luck with the season [Music]
