The Killer's Game Blu-ray Review: Dave Bautista's Fun Action-Comedy
Dave Bautista delivers a fun and chaotic ride in The Killer's Game, blending action, humor, and heart, even if the script falls a bit flat.
FlickDirect's Izola reviews The Killer's Game Blu-ray, starring Dave Bautista as Joe Flood, a hitman caught in a chaotic situation when his terminal cancer diagnosis turns out to be a mistake. While the film blends action and comedy with humor and solid performances, the repetitive script and lackluster extras hold it back from greatness. Despite this, Bautista's charm and the exciting action sequences provide an enjoyable watch.
With top-notch 4K video and dynamic Dolby Atmos audio, The Killer's Game excels in its technical presentation. The video quality delivers crisp, vivid details, especially in the action-packed scenes, while the immersive sound design enhances the experience. Although the extras could have been more extensive, the film's entertaining performances, stunning visuals, and sound make it a solid addition to any Blu-ray collection.
Grade: B
THE KILLER'S GAME is now available digitally and will be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray™, and DVD on November 19 from Lionsgate.
