DC Studios unveils the first full look at Supergirl, teasing a bold intergalactic story with Milly Alcock, Jason Momoa's Lobo, and Krypto.

DC Studios has officially unveiled the Supergirl trailer, giving audiences their first major look at Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El in the upcoming DC Universe feature. The footage previews a larger-scale sci-fi adventure, emotional conflict, and the arrival of Jason Momoa as Lobo, while also spotlighting Krypto’s role in the story.

Directed by Craig Gillespie and written by Ana Nogueira, Supergirl opens in theaters and IMAX on June 26, 2026. With a striking visual style and a more cosmic tone, the trailer suggests DC may have another major theatrical event on its hands this summer.


ABOUT SUPERGIRL

Supergirl marks the next cinematic chapter of DC Studios, introducing Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El in a bold new interpretation of the iconic character. When a ruthless and unexpected adversary brings danger directly into her life, Kara is forced out of isolation and onto a path she never intended to walk. Reluctantly joining forces with an unlikely companion, she embarks on a sweeping interstellar quest rooted in vengeance, justice, and the struggle to define her own identity beyond the legacy of Krypton.

Directed by Craig Gillespie and written by Ana Nogueira, the film brings together a powerful ensemble including Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, and Jason Momoa.
