Almost twenty years after the original film, Miranda Priestly returns to a fashion and publishing world transformed by collapsing print media and new power structures. This time, Miranda is positioned against Emily Charlton, her former assistant, who has risen into a rival executive role as both women battle over influence and advertising revenue in a rapidly changing industry.
