The Electric State (2025)

The Electric State is a spectacular sci-fi adventure from Anthony & Joe Russo, the visionary directors behind Avengers: Endgame. Set in an alternate, retro-futuristic version of the 1990s, the film stars Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things, Enola Holmes) as Michelle, an orphaned teenager navigating a world where sentient robots—once peacefully integrated into society—now exist in exile following a failed uprising.

Everything Michelle knows about the world is upended when she meets Cosmo, a mysterious yet kind-hearted robot linked to Christopher, her long-lost younger brother. Determined to reunite with him, Michelle embarks on a perilous journey across the American southwest. Along the way, she teams up with Keats (Chris Pratt, Guardians of the Galaxy)—a smuggler with questionable morals—and his wisecracking robot sidekick Herman (Anthony Mackie, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier).

As they enter the Exclusion Zone—where rogue robots roam freely—Michelle and Keats encounter an unlikely band of animatronic allies and uncover shocking secrets about the forces that separated her from Christopher.
