Pluribus (2025)

Author Carol Sturka returns to Albuquerque only to discover that a mysterious extraterrestrial virus has transformed most of humanity into a serene hive mind known as the “Others.” Immune to the change, Carol finds herself isolated—one of only thirteen people able to retain human will and emotion in a world now united as one consciousness. 

As the Others begin to assimilate the immune and rewrite the concept of individuality, Carol must navigate shifting loyalties, government secrets, and her own reluctant role in humanity's next chapter.
