The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies Extended Edition
While Jackson’s extended editions are usually the “go to” choice when choosing on film editions, The extended edition of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies can’t help the film from being just a 164-minute coda to a trilogy that was already complete.

Trainwreck
Trainwreck is a decent entry into the family of Judd Apatow comedies, and while the film does not really have rewatchability, it is a film with a lot of heart and showcases Amy Schumer’s acting skills.
Inside Out
For the most part, the story works. Docter's vision of the inner workings of a child's mind is engaging, colorful, and informative, and, as with most Pixar films, tries to convey a valuable life lesson to viewers, not just putting color and fanciful stuff on screen to just look pretty.
Wayward Pines
Wayward Pines is an amazing mini-series that helps bring the tarnished reputation of Shyamalan back into the light.
American Horror Story: Freak Show
Unfortunately American Horror Story: Freak Show deviated too much from the supernatural plot that had worked in past seasons, and had performances that were just too over-the-top for my taste.
Tomorrowland
Tomorrowland has an upbeat message about society and is more in line of the type of film Walt Disney would have approved his company making.
Poltergeist
Alas, Poltergeist ultimately fails at recreating the sheer terror and excitement of the original film and is just more cannon fodder in the “why are we making remakes” mindset.
iZombie: The Complete First Season
While season one of iZombie was hampered with a short show run, season two of the show should hopefully get a few more episodes in, and from what I have seen so far of the show, it's running legs are very long.
Cop Car
Overall, Cop Car is a very good piece of independent filmmaking and is a nice change of pace from the safe bets studios usually flood the theater and home theater market with.
Arrow: The Complete Third Season
It appears DC Comics wanted to give a more Batman type heroic character than being true to the comic book. While this does work on screen, it divides the type of Green Arrow character it’s fans enjoy.
