Sean's background in advertising, and love of the cinema brought Sean to reviewing films and interviewing the people behind the scenes involved in bringing this art form to life. His goal, to promote the best Hollywood has to offer!
I give “Batman: The Killing Joke” one and a half stars SOLELY for the vocal talent, Mark Hamill’s singing number and the background artists, who without them, the movie would be an even bigger disappointment!
The Sing Street soundtrack is fantastic. It holds classics like Duran Duran’s “Rio”, Hall & Oates “Maneater”, The Cure’s “In Between Days”, and M’s “Pop Music”! along with tracks that were inspired by these very songs!
From the moment “The Bounty Hunter”, Major Marquis Warren (played by Samuel L. Jackson) hitches a ride from John Ruth “The Hangman” (Kurt Russell) and his prisoner Daisy (Jennifer Jason Leigh) I was hooked.
As the stylized episode began, a disclaimer came up. "The events depicted took place in Minnesota in 1979” and he thought to himself "I remembered that time, I was 10."
The real question is after 15 years, could they capture the silly, stupid and yet fun magic in a bottle they caught with the Zoolander and would the next generation even be interested?
I give The Leftovers Season 2 three stars out of five. If it weren’t for the Sudden Departure, it would have four, but until they tell us where it went, you’re stuck with three!
The Following was a brilliant and addictive series! Season one will still be my favorite and from there it went a bit downhill….just not so dramatically until episode 40!
Spy is hysterical with things that go Boom! It’s rated R so don’t watch it with the kids (there’s a few naughty bits in there) and push it thru to the end to see a small clip that will crack you up!
I give "The Leftovers: Season 1" three out of five sharpie markers! It was four but you know how fast those markers dry out! The storylines are deep, and while sometimes PAINSTAKINGLY slow at pace, you’ll be compelled to come back for more, and maybe take up wearing white.
