Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald
While the magical aspects and visuals are appealing, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is clunky and awkward.  Fans of the Potter Universe will no doubt go to see it but shouldn’t expect it to be as inviting as the first film.

A Private War
A Private War is haunting but does the life of Marie Colvin justice.  It couldn’t have been easy but it was an important life and the film pays homage to the brilliant woman behind the faces of wars and conflicts all over the world.

As this is the season for family moviegoing, The Grinch throws its hat in the ring as a solid offering to spend one’s hard earned money on.

Nobody's Fool
Perry knows his audience and plays to them throughout. He is  "Nobody’s Fool" and he knows what packs them into theaters.

Beautiful Boy
Beautiful Boy manages to accentuate the devastation addiction brings on the whole family while also highlighting not only the big problem this country faces but also the science behind the chemical reaction the drugs cause on the human body.

First Man
First Man is dramatic and thoughtful and balances the silence and tension with the lighter moments. It’s an interesting take on The United States Space program in the 1960’s and the man that would become revered as an American Hero.

Night School
Night School offers some of the laughs and gags are so funny that you can't hear the next bit of dialog because the audience is laughing too hard!
