fresh off the Ascar daeun boat I'm here with Karl Urban who has scourge the executioner and the latest Thor instalment Ragnarok what's wrong thank you for joining us here thank you pleasure you have two sons yes action yeah that's a good question I'm listening it's it's fun to be a part of a movie and a cinematic universe that they're really into and if I can get some cash eh off that I will take it for all it's worth you've spoken about Kate Blanchet being a big draw yeah in coming to Thor Ragnarok but were you also familiar a fan of the story from comics how big of a Marvel no I wasn't I never read the comics as a kid and you know I read a couple of them in the lead up for this as preparation but the whole world means is pretty pretty foreign and you know I guess my fist of exposure to the whole Marvel Universe was the movies like a lot of other people so but we had a lot of fun making this and it was certainly it was great to see Chris Hemsworth actually get to do something with his character that was you know a lot more full of life than the previous version where it was pretty stiff that was that was something very notable and very enjoyable and back to Kate Blanchet how was the opportunity to finally work with her because she was exquisite yeah she was absolutely it was it difficult to just not be an all working with her or were you able to crank I hear you play the prankster do you really yeah hey listen it was an amazing experience I mean just to to see how Kate would approach the craft and the work and to be a part of the discussions with her and the director mmm leading up to it you know as we also search to define exactly who these characters were and what they meant to each other it was a it was really an eye-opening sort of process to be a part of and you know certainly on on set Kate was amazing to work with you know when she hits you with those laser eyes slide that's the money well even just watching it on the screen yes she is at once vile and that humor yeah yeah she was having fun she I mean she's you know she's having fun I'm certain I'm not the first one who's had the six degrees rebranding thought with you right worked on another film well that directly was hate I don't know I mean I've worked with Idris before and and and you know and obviously Chris foot for this film and we also had Sam Neill on this you know did a little cameo Matt oh yeah it was fun thank you so much thank you [Music]
