So did you two happen to be big fans of the first two films before jumping into this explosive third installment? Yeah, I was a huge fan of the first two films and I actually found out about them from my mom. Back in 2015, I got an email and she was like, "I'm really looking forward to this new movie with Keanu, John Wick." So she was my introduction to the franchise, actually.

And having been a huge fan of the first two, you know, the minute I got the call from Chad Stahelski, the director, you know, I was so excited to meet him and I hoped that we would get along. And we did and then I said yes before I even read the script and I think you did too, right? I did too, you know, and like Asia, somebody else saw the movie and recommended it to me.

My wife, who is not an action movie fan, she saw both John Wick 1 and 2 and I don't know why she didn't even look at it except for maybe Keanu. Anyway, I can understand that. She loved the movies and said you have to watch these and I did and of course I became a fan as well. Stepping into the third film of an action franchise as big as this, what kind of pressure is there when you two are playing the roles of the villains especially?

Hmm. I mean, I think there could have been a lot of pressure. I think it could have been a very intimidating and scary experience, except for the fact that everyone at Lionsgate and Chad, our director, and Keanu were so gracious and welcoming and they're all incredibly humble and it really just felt like we were joining an ensemble. I mean, I think people even said welcome to the family.

I know it was just, it was a really awesome experience. Yeah, so collaborative. You know, everybody was giving each other input and open and trying to be the best, do the best we could. Now speaking of Keanu, everything I hear about him is that he is humble, earnest. What's it like working with Keanu Reeves on the set? I mean, it is like working with an incredibly talented actor who shows up, you know, more prepared than everyone.

You know, he knows that he's got to bring his best game in order to inspire others to do the same and that is exactly the kind of scene partner that I want to be working with and as you said, he is humble, gracious, kind. He has no ego and so could have been certainly very intimidating, I think, to work with Keanu, but really at the end of the day, it was just a joy.

Yeah. Now Mark, since you're a martial arts expert at this point, how intense was the fight choreography? Did you get to train with Keanu Reeves before shooting? Ah, yes and yes. Lucky! I know, I know. No, it was very intense and I have to say along the lines of what Asia was saying, Keanu was working, had more days than any of us and on the weekends, on his days off, he still showed up for fight rehearsals.

So the man is a machine and I heard on the internet that there are people that believe that it's not really Keanu, it's John Wick channeling Keanu. I'm starting to believe that as well, you know. Now, from what I noticed while watching that was that there was a lot more humor incorporated into, not just the, of course, the dialogue, but the action sequences as well.

How do you think that the fans will react to more humor being injected into this film compared to the previous two films? I mean, I think it's one of the ways in which this film is elevated from the first two, which this film incorporates so many different things. It's a real human story and if you're telling a real human story, there's going to be comedy, there's going to be drama, there's going to be action, you know.

And so I think this film, in terms of being like a well-rounded human story, it really achieves that. I love the film. I cannot wait to see it again. I can't wait to take my friends to go see it.
