Digger Final Trailer: Tom Cruise Tries to Save the World He Broke

The official final trailer for Digger offers the wildest look yet at Tom Cruise as Digger Rockwell, an enormously powerful and eccentric man whose actions have helped unleash a catastrophe threatening humanity. Faced with the consequences of his own decisions, Digger launches a desperate mission to convince the world that the man responsible for the disaster may also be the only person capable of stopping it.
Directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu, Digger pushes Cruise far outside the action-hero persona that has defined much of his recent career. The ensemble includes Riz Ahmed, John Goodman, Sandra Hüller, Michael Stuhlbarg, Jesse Plemons, Emma D'Arcy, Sophie Wilde, Burn Gorman, and Robert John Burke. Shot in VistaVision by cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki, Digger arrives in theaters and IMAX across North America on October 2, 2026, with its international theatrical rollout beginning September 30.
