Mannequin (1987)

Jonathan Switcher (Andrew McCarthy), a struggling artist, can't seem to keep a steady job until he lands a position as a window dresser in a Philadelphia department store. His life changes when one of his mannequins magically comes to life as Emmy (Kim Cattrall), a woman from ancient Egypt granted a second chance at existence.

Together, Jonathan and Emmy create dazzling displays that save the store from bankruptcy, all while dodging the jealous sabotage of rivals and the scrutiny of a bumbling security guard. With a mix of romance, slapstick, and 1980s flair, Mannequin became a cult classic remembered for its heart, humor, and the chart-topping theme song “Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now.”
