Scientist, Susan McCallister, has been experimenting with the brains of mako sharks, cold-blooded killing machines known for their speed and ferocity. Violating all ethical codes, she has genetically re-engineered their DNA, creating massive, super-fast, highly intelligent creatures - with attitude.
