FlickDirect, Jennifer Broderick

A graduate of The George Washington University and Nova Southeastern Law School Jennifer Fischer Broderick’s fascination with the movie world started when she first saw Snow White on the big screen as a young child. When the producers of the movie Annie held auditions in NYC, Jennifer stood on line in the cold to try out for a part and actually made it past the first few try-outs. A vivacious reader, she is fascinated watching books and stories brought to life on the big screen. Jennifer has passed her love of movies onto her children and they are often found planning their weekends around opening premieres.

Arrow: The Complete Fifth Season
Sep 19, 2017
I am glad Arrow went through a bit of a reinvention this past season.  New faces bring a new enthusiasm to the script and storyline and we are constantly reminded in Season Five that not only is the team simply human, but Arrow is simply a man.

The Flash: The Complete Third Season
Sep 06, 2017
The Flash is probably one of the best television shows today.  The writers bring you into the story and you feel invested as to what happens. The actors seem like a real team and their problems and achievements become yours.

Gotham: The Complete Third Season
Sep 06, 2017
Gotham is a network much like the mob mentality it presents, like a spider spinning its web, ensuring that all the facets of each inner workings run smoothly.  The storyline is the central focus along with the different characters and all the side stories.

Batman and Harley Quinn
Aug 29, 2017
Batman and Harley Quinn is a delight to watch.  Adding Harley Quinn was a genius step for Warner Bros. and DC Comics and the adult humor added makes those of adults – well, feel like kids again!

Black Sails: The Complete Fourth Season
Aug 28, 2017
Black Sails brought sex, violence, pirates, and a rich history to our homes for fours years. While not a show for the entire family, adults in the house who have never seen Black Sails are missing out on an epic story.

Supergirl: The Complete Second Season
Aug 24, 2017
Supergirl is a solid show and brings a different perspective to the Superhero world from its sister shows.  While I still see the storyline as a work in progress, Supergirl has a solid cast and an understandable plot that has a lot of steam left.

Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2 is an amazing masterpiece that the entire family can enjoy and learn from. More than just a Marvel movie, the moral of this movie is quite clear. You can't choose your blood- but you can sure choose your family.

The Blacklist: The Complete Fourth Season
Aug 21, 2017
There is a lot going on in The Blacklist and sometimes I think some of the characters are underutilized, but the consistent story between Keene and Reddington is the underlying theme for this fascinating show.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul
Aug 14, 2017
Diary of a Wimpy Kid:  The Long Haul is a cute movie, with a new cast, that flows the way the prior two movies in the franchise did.  Aimed at the younger school age, it is a resourceful movie but the adults may crave a deeper philosophy than presented.
