I'm Austin pond with like dried tear interviewing the lovely McKenzie foyer for her new movie Nutcracker in the forums how are you doing today thank you so this role this film and a retelling how did it feel tackling on such a really such an iconic role for this purpose it was really exciting especially going deeper into the audition process and deeper after I booked it into the character and seeing all the different versions of this story and of Clara I mean with the book with the ballet there's so many different versions so it was kind of looking at that trying to find the similarities and also looking at who was this Clara who was this version how is she different it was really fun it was it was a lot of research and I really enjoyed it was lot of sticky notes and highlighters noise now this kind of adds on to that but Clara she's such an intelligent character in a very very wise with mechanical objects how did it feel playing such a character that have such a positive influence on little girls or this woman out there in general it was really amazing and I would I really loved about her is that she's just this regular girl and she's interested in science and mechanics and I think that's a really wonderful thing for people to see that you know not just girls but boys that you can do anything that you can be different you can be a girl you can like with science and you can be a guy and you can like science as well that it's normal now you've done horror with James wad the conjuring you worked with Christopher Nolan and they're still or now you've worked obviously on on a fantasy film if you could choose what Jonah to work on next what would you choose from the acting standpoint hmm oh I think it would be kind of fun all I want to do an action film because I would really like that and also maybe like a suspense kind of because I think cuz it suspense in horror kind of similar but like a pure suspense film I think would be fun and also learning being on set and learning like the camera angles and all of that I think are really key things in suspenseful right it would be cool to like see that from the other side all right so we're in the holiday season at this point if edit choose your favorite holiday between Halloween Thanksgiving and Christmas which would you choose I think I'll have to go with Christmas just because I like I like sweaters and I like that like winter fashion and getaways yeah you have to be like in December just thoroughly wear a sweater and then I also like the decorations and like the spirit that everyone gets in so I'd have to say like Christmas time yeah I'm not gonna lie after seeing the preview I nearly don't get into the Christmas spirit until actually December but I'm not gonna lie if this got me to the Christmas spirit very much so yeah it's a very it definitely the film I think really captures the spirit of that holiday season like you really get that feeling absolutely well McKenzie thank you so much for talking I really appreciate it [Music]
