The Breakfast Club (1985)

On a Saturday morning, five high school students from different cliques arrive for detention at Shermer High School. Among them are the brain, the athlete, the basket case, the princess, and the criminal—teenagers who seemingly have nothing in common. Forced to spend nine hours together under the watchful eye of a strict principal, their differences and defenses soon clash.

As the day progresses, walls begin to break down and the students share vulnerabilities, dreams, and struggles. What starts as an ordinary punishment becomes a transformative experience, as each realizes they are more alike than different. By the end of the day, these unlikely companions leave with a new sense of understanding and connection that will forever change how they see themselves and each other.
