Synopsis of Minority Report (2002)

In Washington D.C., 2054, the PreCrime division uses psychic “Precogs” to arrest murderers before they strike. Chief John Anderton (Tom Cruise) believes the system is flawless—until he's accused of a future murder he hasn't committed. On the run from his own unit, Anderton must uncover the truth behind the vision and prove the technology he swore by may not be perfect after all.

As he delves deeper, Anderton discovers a conspiracy that threatens not only his freedom but the foundation of justice itself. Minority Report is a gripping blend of sci-fi, noir, and moral philosophy that explores the intersection of fate, free will, and the cost of safety in a world governed by prediction.
