Brian Jennings (Kevin James) is a recently unemployed accountant-turned stay-at-home dad whose attempts at normal parenting fall apart when he accepts a seemingly innocent playdate invitation from charismatic dad Jeff Eamon (Alan Ritchson). What starts as mild banter and minivan carpooling turns into chaos when a band of mercenaries invades the suburban event, forcing both fathers and their sons into a wild survival scramble across city streets.
As Jeff's unexpected combat skills surface and Brian's world goes from chaotic to dangerous, the pair must navigate friendships, fatherhood, and mayhem in ways neither expected.
