Ready or Not 2 Here I Come 4K Review Bigger and Bloodier?

Full Video Review

Samara Weaving returns for a bloodier, larger-scale horror comedy sequel built for fans of the original.

Ready or Not 2: Here I Come expands the deadly game beyond the mansion and into a sprawling resort, giving Grace a new fight for survival as rival families enter the chaos. Izola reviews the physical media release, covering the movie, audio and video presentation, bonus features, and whether this sequel deserves a spot in your collection.

Samara Weaving once again anchors the madness, while Elijah Wood stands out as one of the film's funniest new additions. The sequel delivers bigger action, more gore, and plenty of dark comedy, even if its expanded mythology and longer runtime occasionally slow the momentum.

Audio, Video, and Bonus Features

The presentation offers strong black levels, clean shadows, punchy sound design, and chaotic action sequences that give home theater setups a solid workout. A few dark scenes show minor compression issues, and dialogue can get buried during the loudest moments, but the overall release remains highly enjoyable for horror fans.

The bonus features dig into the sequel's expanded story, new cast, production design, practical gore, blood effects, and behind-the-scenes mayhem, making the release more appealing for collectors who enjoy learning how horror set pieces come together.

If you enjoyed the first Ready or Not, this sequel is an easy recommendation. It may not fully match the original's lightning-in-a-bottle pacing, but it is still bloody, chaotic, and entertaining enough to earn a place on the shelf.
