Avengers: Doomsday brings the Marvel Cinematic Universe into an epic Phase Six showdown as Earth's mightiest heroes face their deadliest threat yet. Following the events of Thunderbolts (2025) and expanding the multiverse saga, the Avengers join forces with the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and other legacy teams to confront Victor von Doom — a powerful adversary played by Robert Downey Jr., marking one of the most dramatic villain turns in MCU history. 
Under the direction of Anthony and Joe Russo and penned by longtime MCU collaborators Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, the film unites heroes across eras, including returning favorites like Thor, Captain America, Ant-Man, Black Panther, Shang-Chi, Loki, and the leads from the original X-Men franchise.
